Your doctor will help you determine how to start, in order to get you on your way to an easier, healthier life with allergy drops:
1. Consultation:
Your doctor will most likely have you complete a questionnaire about your previous history with allergies as well as gathering information about your current environment. Many times, allergies may be avoided by changing your lifestyle and/or environment.
2. Testing:
Your doctor will test you for allergies, either by conducting a skin or blood test. Once the results are reviewed by your doctor, he/she is able to determine you’re allergies. At this time, your doctor will be able to determine if you need a pre-seasonal allergy regimen or a longer course of treatment.
3. Prescription:
Your doctor will then complete the prescription form to be sent to the pharmacy division of All-American Allergy Alternatives, LLC. A customized prescription of allergy drops will be mixed by a pharmacist based on the results of your skin or blood test. Rest assured that your prescription will be filled in a fully state-accredited pharmacy in accordance with the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy's (AAOA) recommended dosing schedule and labeled as suggested by the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology (AAAAI).
4. Demonstration and Education:
Your doctor most likely will want to see you in the office in order to demonstrate the use of your allergy drops and to give you the appropriate education regarding the self-administration of your drops. It Is important to be comfortable with the process of administering the drops. Your doctor will generally want to schedule a follow-up appointment in three to six months.
